You’re someone that likes to ride bikes. Or, maybe you think you might like to. Maybe you’re just curious what it’s all about as you see more and more bikes around town. That’s understandable as the popularity of cycling has been growing the past few years. Since Jefferson City is adjacent to the Katy Trail, you may assume that’s where most people are riding their bikes. While a good number of people ride on the Katy Trail (a surprising amount of folks actually travel in from all over to ride it) there are many other types of riding. There are even groups that get together to do these rides.
Have you ever been confused as a motorist about our new bike lanes? We've got you!

Local is the New Black
My name is Brett Welschmeyer, an IT Manager and entrepreneur living in Jefferson City for most of my life. Jefferson City has a community of people that have many ideas and interest, and many of them don't even know what talents or skills they have. Not by choice, but lack of hands-on learning or places to really dig in and experiment and have some fun creating unique inventions. This is the main reason why I started to lay the foundations for Mid Mo Maker Labs.
A series of interviews with local business owners who shape our city.

I have been lucky enough to call Lindsey a friend and client and I'm so excited to introduce her today. One thing that you might not know is Lindsey is a skilled film photographer which is hard to find in today's digital world. Her airy and bright aesthetic is adored by so many and is hard to achieve. From time to time Lindsey has been generous enough to donate her skills to our blog. Thank you so much! I have so much respect for this working mom and I'm thrilled she's appearing on the blog.
Not to brag, but this Love for Local is someone pretty special. Ryan Bohl is a number crunching machine that loves to help people get the most out of their business
Damian Bunting is a game changer. He's charismatic, driven, and humble. A perfect recipe for success. I was fortunate enough to meet him through 1 Million Cups Jeff City, but as of lately, it's more of a treat to see him outside of his boutique-style gym. At the turn of 2018, Damian got hyper-focused and started drilling in on what his goals. A choice that I respect and admire. It's my pleasure to introduce you to such a multi-layered business owner in our beautiful city.
