Date Ideas In Jefferson City

Friend who makes this post possible:

1. Shop at local antique/vintage stores

There are many different antique shops to choose from in Jefferson City, including: Missouri Boulevard Antique Mall (pictured), Encore, Shop Girl (pictured), Kay's Collectibles, and Yellow Moon Antique Mall. It is the perfect Saturday afternoon date!

2. Go out for a fun afternoon or night of bowling

Bowling is not only fun but it is a very cheap date! Shoes and entry cost very little and most weekends they have very fun events going on and tournaments!

3. Spend the afternoon at the River Access

Not only is the Noren River Access/Wilson's Serenity Point a beautiful site, it doubles as a great spot to have a picnic and share a drink with your significant other! Camping spots are available during the summer and the bike path over the bridge makes for a fun way to exercise.

4. Visit your local music venue

The Mission and The Bridge are by far some of the best venues to enjoy live music in the historic district of downtown Jefferson City! The Bridge usually features a food truck on the weekends to go along with their drink specials.

5. Grab some grub and a cocktail!

If you decide to visit the Mission for a show, I recommend visiting one of their neighbors after, JQ's on High for some delicious food (I highly recommend the fatboy burger) and the Shrunken Head for a delicious cocktail (Try out the zombie or shrunken head cocktail)! Perfect way to end your date night.
